Special Delivery Services
Retail, supplier and door-to-door furniture delivery on our own insured fleet
Retail, supplier and door-to-door furniture delivery on our own insured fleet
Special delivery services cover the deliveries that couriers will not take — furniture, appliances and bulky goods that need two people, proper wrapping, and someone who will carry the item inside and place it rather than leave it at the gate.
We work with furniture retailers, manufacturers, online sellers and auction houses across South Africa, and directly with buyers who have bought something a supplier will not deliver. The same insured fleet and trained crews that handle household removals.

Courier networks are built around parcels: priced on dimensions and weight, sorted through hubs, handled by one person. Furniture breaks every one of those assumptions. It does not fit a conveyor, it cannot be handled by one person, and it cannot be sorted through a hub without being handled repeatedly — which is precisely where damage happens. Our deliveries go direct from collection to destination on the same vehicle, handled twice rather than eight times.
For retailers we operate as an outsourced delivery arm: we collect from your store or warehouse, deliver to your customer, and handle the placement and packaging removal. Your customer sees a branded, uniformed crew rather than an unmarked bakkie. For suppliers running national distribution we consolidate deliveries onto scheduled long-distance runs, which is materially cheaper than dedicated trips.
A large share of this work is buyers rather than sellers — someone has bought a couch on Facebook Marketplace, a dining suite at auction, or an item from a retailer that only delivers within a metro. We collect from the seller, wrap the item for transport, and deliver to you. We need the collection address, a contact number for the seller and a photo of the item.
Standard delivery in this country often means the item reaches your gate. Ours means it reaches the room it is going in. The crew carries it in, unwraps it, places it where you want it, assembles it if it needs assembling, and takes the packaging away. For a large or heavy item that difference is the entire value of the service — a wardrobe on a driveway is still your problem.
Because we run scheduled long-distance routes to every province, a delivery from Gauteng to Cape Town, Durban or Gqeberha can travel on a vehicle already making that trip. You pay for the space the item occupies rather than for a dedicated run, which typically puts a single-item interprovincial delivery well below what a dedicated transporter would charge.
Every delivery moves under Goods in Transit cover. For retailers this matters commercially: an uninsured informal transporter shifts the risk of a damaged delivery onto you, and your customer holds you responsible regardless of who dropped it. We inspect and photograph items at collection so the condition on departure is documented rather than disputed.
Our reasonable rates, careful and personalised service and track record of satisfied customers have made us the ideal choice
for many South African households and businesses needing help with any size and type of move.
Deliveries are priced on the size of the item, the distance and whether it travels dedicated or consolidated:
| Delivery | Typical example | Indicative price |
|---|---|---|
| Local, single item | Couch or appliance within a metro | from R1,500 |
| Local, multiple items | A room of furniture from a retailer | from R1,800 |
| Long distance, consolidated | Single item to another province | from R4,100 |
| Retail contract | Scheduled recurring deliveries | Quoted per route |
Indicative figures for budgeting, not quotes. Retailers with regular volume are quoted on a route basis, which is materially cheaper than per-delivery pricing.
To quote a delivery we need four things, and a photo answers most of them:
Flexible timing is worth real money here. If we can put your item on a vehicle already running that route, the price is a fraction of a dedicated trip.
Throughout Gauteng — Johannesburg, Sandton, Midrand, Randburg, Roodepoort, Pretoria, Centurion, Alberton, Benoni and the East and West Rand — usually within a few days. Nationally we deliver to Cape Town, Durban, Gqeberha, East London, Bloemfontein, Nelspruit, Polokwane, Kimberley and George on our scheduled long-distance runs, which is what keeps single-item interprovincial delivery affordable.
The cheapest quote is very often the most expensive outcome. An unusually low price generally means no Goods in Transit cover, a casual crew hired that morning, or a figure that grows once your goods are already loaded. We run our own branded fleet with trained permanent crews, we publish our prices, and we quote in writing so the figure agreed is the figure charged. The warning signs are set out in how to avoid moving scams.

Moving a few items rather than a whole home. A single fridge, a bedroom of furniture, a student move or one delicate piece. You pay for the space your goods actually occupy rather than for a whole vehicle, which is what makes it affordable.

Full household removals handled by trained, permanent crews. Packing, wrapping, dismantling and reassembly, loading and offloading, all on our own branded fleet with Goods in Transit cover on every job.

Corporate and SME relocations planned around your downtime, including IT equipment and servers with anti-static handling. We work after hours and over weekends so your business keeps running.

Interprovincial removals to every major centre in South Africa, on shared or dedicated loads. Shared loads cost materially less because you only pay for your share of the vehicle.

Full or partial packing with proper double-walled cartons, bubble wrap, blankets and anti-static materials for electronics. Everything we pack ourselves is covered.

Pianos, safes, artwork, antiques, gym equipment and oversized items that need extra hands, proper equipment and a crew that has moved them before.
